We meet for worship every Sunday morning at 1030am in Moira Methodist Centre, Main Street, Moira. We're easy to find in the centre of Moira, just opposite Poole's SuperValu supermarket. You're very welcome to join us.
Why do we worship?
In Matthew Ch.18 v.20, Jesus tell us, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." So, when we meet each Sunday morning, we gather to:
- Spend time in God’s presence;
- Give thanks to God;
- Share and learn together from God’s Word;
- Ask God to forgive our sins and wrongdoings;
- Place our concerns before God;
- Pray for and remember others before God;
- Benefit from a time of Christian fellowship.
'...where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them.'
Matthew Ch.18 v.20

Epilogue
Services
During July and August we hold special Summer Epilogue Services. These begin at 850pm with 10 minutes of Community Singing, followed by the service which commences at 9pm. If you’ve never been, they’re a great way to finish a Summer Sunday evening. The services are taken by a different speaker each week. Special music is also provided by an invited guest and our Epilogue Services typically last around 45 minutes.
Other
Services
As well as weekly Sunday morning services, we hold a number of other services throughout the year. These include:
- Annual services for organisations within our Church e.g. Men Together Fellowship, MWI and our Sunday School;
- Family Breakfast Services, where worship is preceded by breakfast.

Special Services
- At the start of January each year, we hold a Covenant Service at which we renew our commitment to Almighty God;
- During Holy Week (the week before Easter), there are a series of services held together with other Churches on the Glenavy & Moira Methodist Circuit. At these services, we remember Christ’s trial, His crucifixion upon the cross and His resurrection on Easter Sunday;
- On Remembrance Sunday, we remember before God all those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict. We remember and give thanks to God for Her Majesty's Armed Forces and their commitment to maintain and defend our freedoms;
- During Advent, we hold a series of special services, culminating in Family Worship on Christmas morning.
- On New Year’s Eve we hold a special Watchnight Service at midnight at which we welcome in the New Year in God’s presence.
